Dr Ritu Gupta received her Masters and PhD in Materials Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore in 2013 and worked with Prof. Giridhar U. Kulkarni. Her PhD thesis work is related to Nanomaterials and Nanodevices for Water, Energy and Healthcare. During her PhD, she had an opportunity to work on various collaborative projects and made several international visits on fellowship to Department of Energy Conversion and Storage, Denmark Technical University and Nanotechnology Centre at Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa and Birck NanoTechnology Centre, Purdue University. She did her Postdoctoral work at Purdue University with Prof. Timothy S. Fisher She has worked on large area MPCVD graphene and roll-to-roll printing of multiple functional material inks on a large scale for active device fabrication. Her research group is presently working on the scalable synthesis and development of functional nanomaterials for fundamental and device application in the area of electrocatalysis, energy and healthcare.
